DRUMS WORKSHOPS
The expression of rhythm. Pupils will learn the importance of time keeping through the drum kit, rudiments patterns, time signatures and playing in a band scenario Drums

MUSIC AWARENESS PROGRAM (MAP)
The course comprises of six 6 week lessons tailored for years 1 through 6. This will challenge students’ musical awareness from a composition / performance perspective. The course deals with listening skills, basic composition arrangement, vocal techniques and group performances.
CHOIR WORKSHOPS
Singers will learn to develop harmonic awareness, singing in parts, recognising the potential for using their voice as a musical resource, and an understanding of vocal textures (acapella style) as well as a traditional Gospel ensemble.
VOCAL WORKSHOPS
The development of the voice through the genre of contempory music. The study of scales,breathing exercises, phrasing, pronounciation, improvisation and tone.
MUSIC TECHNOLOGY
This exciting workshop allows pupils to be creative using the latest equipment in music technology. Programs such as Logic, Cubase, Reason and many more.
GIFTED & TALENTED
Designed for the exceptional student that shows a natural gift in music. Course consists of Composition / arrangement, performance, listening, singing and appraising.
Pupils engage in gospel choir workshop with an introduction to the history of gospel music via Negro spirituals.
Pupils will play and learn the beauty of the classical instrument, acquiring skill and technique with each lesson.
